Happy New Year! Are You Ready to Reset and Recharge You?

Join us for Restorative Yoga classes with Elise. What is restorative yoga? It is a gentle, calming practice designed to relax the body and mind. It involves holding a series of passive poses for extended periods, often supported by props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks. The focus is on deep relaxation rather than active stretching or strength-building. Restorative yoga is often done to reduce stress, aid in recovery, and promote overall well-being. It encourages the parasympathetic nervous system in supporting the body to slow down, rest, and rejuvenate. It’s a great complement to the other types of workouts that you do. Blocks and straps are provided. Please bring a mat and blankets. Feel free to bring other things from home that you can use for props, such as towels, bolsters, cushions, or an eye pillow.

There is a fee to attend classes at Cottonwood Palo Verde: $5 per class or $20 for five classes.

Classes are at the Cottonwood Palo Verde Fitness Center on Mondays and Fridays at 10 a.m. and at the IronOaks Wellness Center on Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Hope to see you there!
