FUN da MENTAL Bridge Classes for Everyone!
|FUN da MENTAL Bridge is offering two Bridge classes starting in March. Learn with Better Bridge certified instructor Karin Hansen. Hundreds of your neighbors have enjoyed these classes over the past several seasons.
Beginning Bridge: An introduction to modern bridge learning the fundamentals and some common conventions. Classes are Monday mornings, March 7 to April 18, from 9 to 11:15 a.m. in Cottonwood Room A-7. Seven weeks for $70 plus textbooks, which are available at a discount from the instructor. Boot Camp Bridge: Review the basics and learn modern conventions such as Stayman, Jacoby, and Blackwood. Classes are Monday mornings, March 21 to April 18, from 9 to 11:15 a.m. in Cottonwood Room A-7. Five weeks for $50 plus textbooks, which are available for purchase from the instructor. Practice bridge sessions are Friday mornings from 9:30 a.m. until about noon. We have a practice bridge game. Our bunch ranges from beginners to seasoned players. There’s no charge to practice with us. We have anywhere from one to three tables, and there’s an extra table in the room if we need it. Whether you’re a newbie taking a class, have played for years, or are returning after not playing for a while, you’re invited to pop in at the Ladies Card Room in Cottonwood Country Club near the fountain and the library.
