Cooling down with Essential Oils

JoAnne Gaudioso

Summertime presents us with many challenges, many of them related to outdoor activity.

* How to keep cool while engaged in outdoor activity

* How to keep bugs away

* Itch relief from bug bites

* Relief from seasonal allergies

* Finding a safe and natural sunscreen to protect the body’s largest organ

* Relief from motion sickness on those long road trips

Whether you are experiencing one of these challenges or if there is something else, I have an oil for that! When it’s hot and sunny, use essential oils to help cool and protect yourself.

Essential oils are naturally-occurring volatile, aromatic compounds found in seeds, bark, stems, roots and flowers of plants. Essential Oils are basically the plant’s natural medicine against bacteria, viruses, parasites and diseases that attack the cell. Our bodies and plants have similar building blocks, so when we use essential oils, they work on our behalf, killing bacteria, destroying parasites, cleansing toxins and boosting our immune systems.

If you would like to learn more about how Essential Oils can help you by providing a more natural way to handle these summer challenges, please join me for a workshop. Workshops are scheduled on Saturdays, August 11 and 25 at ll:00 a.m. If these are not convenient, please call me to set up a time convenient for you. At this workshop, we will go over the basic 10 oils and make a summer blend for you to take home.
