The summer heat has arrived. A good place for artists to stay cool and enjoy painting together is with the members of the DAC (Desert Artists Club). We invite artists in Sun Lakes to join our group each Tuesday afternoon, from 3 to 6 p.m., in the Ceramics Room (A-8) in Cottonwood, across from the Pro Shop and library. Any artist within our three HOAs is able to participate. This fun and inspiring club is casual, with no dues or regular meetings. We bring our own supplies and work on our own projects at our own pace, together with other creative members. No pressure—just an enjoyable time being creative and getting inspired by others. A designated time to create can be very helpful when life gets busy and we need a break from everyday tasks.

Stop in for a visit and see if this club will meet your needs. Feel free to bring your art project and stay a while. Come and meet other artists, and if you decide to join, you can be on our member list and receive an occasional email with notifications of any social event or other activity we may plan.
