Fall is in the air, bringing opportunities to be outside enjoying cooler weather, lots of sunshine, and renewed energy to enjoy natures’ bounties, for which we are so grateful. For Desert Artist Club members, it is time to find new subjects to draw, paint, or create in new or special mediums. We find our inspiration in nature as it speaks to each of us in unique ways. Let your creativity soar as you look to the beauty all around, open your hearts to seek joy, solace, peace, and gratitude for all that nature shares freely with us on this beautiful earth.
We will be painting together again when we feel safe to meet in groups, so in the meantime, let love fill your hearts and your art pieces. Many of you have been painting at home and sharing with club members online. That has been uplifting, so let’s keep that virtual activity going to help us all get through this challenging time away from each other.
May each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, remembering all for which we can be grateful.
For artists new to Sun Lakes, the DAC normally meets every Tuesday in the Cottonwood Ceramics Room (A-8) from 3 to 6 p.m. For further information about our club, you may contact me at [email protected].
