Area vocalist Jesse Washington will present the Third Annual Pre-Thanksgiving Musicale Concert on Sunday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. The 2020 Musicale Concert was canceled due to COVID-19, but is back on track for 2021. The 2021 event will feature Jesse along with his special guest piano duo Jeanette Cline and Roz Pederson. The Musicale will include gospel, contemporary gospel, classical, showtunes, patriotic songs, and jazz for your entertainment pleasure.

Jesse has prior experience in community theatre, light opera, local churches, and was a two-year member of the San Francisco Opera Company. Most recently, he has appeared as a regular participant in the City of Chandler Spice of Life Shows, various events in Sun Lakes, SunBird, Trilogy, Maricopa, and other venues in East and West Valley locations.

Jesse’s guests are “Two Piano Keyboards, Four Hands.” The ladies are Jeanette Cline and Roz Pederson.

Since moving to Sun Lakes, Jeanette Cline has been active as music coordinator for the Sun Lakes Women’s Connection; organized and directed the Keyboard Connection, an ensemble of 14 ladies at 14 piano keyboards; sings in the Sun Lakes Chorale; music director and accompanist for the Sun Lakes theatrical production of Charlie Brown. Roz Pederson has taught music privately and in the public schools, performed as a soloist, accompanist in musicals, participated in national competitions, church organist, and pianist. She spreads her musical talents locally, statewide, and abroad. Roz still is not sure “what she wants to be when she grows up.”
