It’s summertime for the Chordaires

Karen Sproates

The Chordaires Show Chorus of Sun Lakes is having a fun summer, taking time to get together to enjoy each other’s company. Twice a month, these women meet for lunch and to play cards. The end of June brought many of the singers together for a wine and cheese social where they enjoyed several different and unique cheeses, along with some lovely wines, champagne and even a wine slush. Perfect for this hot weather and summertime in general.

The Chordaires Show Chorus of Sun Lakes is a 501(c)(3) organization and will be at all the Sun Lakes Open Houses, including SunBird, this fall. They’re looking for women who would like to join them for the holiday season by learning a few Christmas carols and participating in the “Happy Holidays” program at Sun Lakes Country Club on December 9 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Marc Gaston is their fantastic director who is dedicated to teaching and coaching these ladies and believes in having fun along the way.
