Blessed with the Phoenix South Mountain Preserve as Tom’s backyard, the gilded flicker is a frequent visitor amongst other desert wildlife. Tom hand held his Nikon D500 with Nikkor 200-500mm lens set to f/5.6, 1/4000s, ISO 640, 500mm and VR on. Congratulations, Tom.
