Six members of the Lady Sluggers senior softball team were honored at the annual Spring Tournament and Cook-Out.

Award certificates for the top five hitters were presented by Sun Lakes Senior Softball Association (SLSSA) President Doug Warwick to the following: Batting champ: Sharon Bergen (.795), Frankie DeMouth (second at .704), Sue Rodke (third at .702), Suzy Steinmann (fourth at .680), and Cyndy Hilby (fifth at .595).

Roseanne Kuefner was honored with a Certificate for Most Improved Fielder, while Cyndy Hilby was the Most Improved Hitter.

Congratulations to all these ladies for their outstanding seasons. In addition, congrats once again to the whole team for their impressive 2022 record of 17 wins, against only seven losses and one tie.

The 2023 edition of the Lady Sluggers will begin practices in November and start league play next January in the Valley of the Sun League.
