Lions do eye screening

Eye screenings only take a few seconds using the Spot Auto Refractor.Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club and the Sun Lakes Lions Club had an eye screening event for children and adults in the Ballroom at Cottonwood Country Club on Saturday, March 25. The Lions Clubs used a state-of-the-art auto refractor in place of standard eye charts.

It only takes a few seconds for Lions Club members to do vision screening with the new Spot Auto Refractor.

The auto refractor handheld device, a little larger than a Polaroid camera, is being used in place of the old eye charts.

Lions Clubs around the world are dedicated to helping people, especially children, with sight and hearing problems.

It is not necessary to be a Lion to help in this screening project.
