Sun Lakes Community Theatre, after over a year’s absence, will be presenting, for your enjoyment, An Evening of Old Time Radio. Previous Old Time Radio productions were so well received that three new episodes from the 1940s have been chosen for this summer’s production. Two comedies, the ever-popular Fibber McGee and Molly and The Bickersons, will be followed by the most popular police show of all time, Dragnet.

The performance dates are July 27, 28, 29, and 30 at 7 p.m., and July 31 at 2 p.m. matinee.

Ticket sales start on July 7 as follows:

Cottonwood Room A-3 (in-person): 10 a.m. to noon on July 7, 14, and 21

Oakwood lobby (in-person): 10 a.m. to noon on July 8, 15, and 22

Online sales will also be available 24/7 at www.slctinfo.com starting at 10 a.m. on July 7. Ticket prices are $16. Shows will be in the San Tan Ballroom at Cottonwood.

Social distancing will be practiced. Masks are encouraged.

The Sun Lakes Community Theatre is always looking for members. There are many opportunities to be involved in the theatre. Besides acting and directing, members work with props, scenery, make-up and costumes, programs and tickets, and ushering. This is your chance to use your talents and make new friends. We meet once a month, fall through spring. For more information, contact Sandy Pallett at [email protected].
