Tea Blend Workshop

April 1 at 2 p.m.

Experiment with different tea leaves and ingredients to create your personalized tea blend to take home! This workshop includes a tea-tasting of your creation.

Craft & Chat

April 3, 10, 17, and 24 at 2 p.m.

Join us for Craft & Chat, a fun and relaxed program where creativity meets conversation! This is a space for all crafters—whether you’re knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, painting, or working on any other crafty project. Please bring your own materials, and let’s craft together while sharing ideas, tips, and stories. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet fellow community members, make new friends, and get inspired by each other’s projects. No registration is required, so drop in anytime! Nonfiction Book Club—Born a Crime

April 5 at 3 p.m.

Join our fantastic nonfiction book club to read fascinating biographies, gripping historical accounts, or affirming self-help titles. Each month we will read a different nonfiction book and discuss it as a group. This month, we will be reading Born a Crime, by Trevor Noah.

Recipe Swap

April 7 at 10 a.m.

Join us once a month to share and swap recipes! Bring your favorite recipes, and we will create and pass out copies of it. Participants will be provided with a Robson recipe book where you can add the new recipes you receive.

Embroidery 101

April 9 at 10 a.m.

Book Club Is My Alibi—Her Deadly Game

Join us at our Mystery Book Club! Every month we discuss a new, contemporary mystery. Copies of our next book will be distributed at the end of the meeting.

Radical Reptile Fun

April 12 at 2 p.m.

Radical Reptile Fun will bring live reptiles to the library! The show begins with meeting and learning about the animals one by one. Stick around to come up and interact with the reptiles by petting them and asking questions!

Readers Rendezvous

April 14 at 10 a.m.

Join fellow readers once a month to talk about what you’re reading! This will be a book club-style discussion but with no required title to read. Discuss what you love to read, share some recommendations, and leave with new titles to read!

Workshop Writing: The Tapestry of Your Life

April 16 at 10 a.m.

In this workshop we will discuss tapestry-worthy moments in our lives, and we will design a few panels for tapestries (stick figures are fine) that portray moments and events that tell the stories of our lives.

Genealogy Workshop

April 16 at 11:30 a.m.

Join Duane Roen every month to learn about the basics of genealogy research. This is a one-on-one consultation with Duane. Please sign up to reserve your spot. Space is limited to four.

PHXJAZZ—Jazz Meets Pop

April 19 at noon

Come to the library to watch a performance from PHXJAZZ showcasing jazz arrangements of pop songs! The quartet, led by performer and educator Keith Kelly, will perform an hour of music as well as discussion surrounding the cultural context of the genre.

Macramé 101

April 22 at 2 p.m.

This is a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of knotting beautiful designs with just cord and creativity! This beginner-friendly session will introduce you to basic macramé techniques, including fundamental knots and patterns. By the end of the workshop, you’ll create your own small macramé project to take home. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Registration is required.

Crafting Together: Neurographic Art

April 24 at 10 a.m.

Join us for a unique craft! Each Crafting Together session provides an opportunity to create something new. Learn a new activity while you engage with the community, relax, and have fun. Neurographic art is a meditative art technique that uses organic lines and shapes to create a calming, visually pleasing artwork. It’s based on the idea that the process of creating the art can help you transform stress and difficult emotions.
