Reggie Wegman
All of our Lady Niners would like to thank the 2020 Board for helping us get through a very difficult year with some great days of golf. Not only did the virus change things at the last minute, but Arizona recorded the hottest summer in its history! The president during this most difficult year was Judy Hedding, and Kathy Chebuhar was the vice president. Barbara Stewart and Linda Liberti did a great job keeping the weekly tournaments together. The play dates continued uninterrupted. Thanks also to Rachel Enloe, who keeps us financially sound, and Julie Collier, who maintains our records. Without their dedication, the OLNGA league would not continue to grow and function!
Kathy Chebuhar will be president in 2021. Her board members will be Rachel Enloe as financial chair and Lynn Matassarin as secretary. The office of vice president is still open to some gal who would enjoy working with these great ladies. Please consider the position and give Kathy a call!
And a great big Thank You to all the gals who have volunteered to be chairs of the other committees. This league could not function without you! We hope the coming year brings lots of great golf, a few smiles, and lots of birdies and chip ins.
The Christmas Luncheon was super, thanks to Shirley Malik and Laurie Olsen. It was wonderful to see all of us enjoying the day. Awards were given to Mary Medved as low net and Cora Levensky as low gross representatives from our league to the State Medallion tournament which will be held in January at PebbleCreek. Good luck, ladies! Reggie Wegman was the most improved golfer—only took 20 years!
