OLGA’s POD on Jan. 11 was Criss Cross. In Flight 1 Debbie Wood was the big winner, followed by Marla Dahm. Eun Yoon and Julie Hastings tied for third. Flight 2 winner was Sharon Skoworn, second Sherry Rogers, and third Dang Teater. Winner in Flight 3 was Eleanor McCann. Betty Lauer was second, Doris Swanson was third, and Nancy Cohn was fourth. In Flight 4, Frankie Hatch and Norma Tucker tied for first. There was a four-way tie for third. They were Mary Buhrt, Ladonna Wheat, Priscilla Klabunde, and Cindy Paskey.

“Ghost” holes were used on Jan. 18. Sharon Bowditch won first in Flight 1. Cindy Reinertsen was second, followed by Judy Darnell, Mary Perry, and Bev Chipman who all tied for third. In Flight 2, Dang Teater was first, Julie Hastings was second, and Peggy Cooper was third. Flight 3 was won by Robin Thomas, and tied for second were Fran Morin, Debbie Horner, and Shirley Weaver. Kathy Burns won Flight 4, Pat Schepp was second, and tied for third were Doris Swanson and Beth Ebmeier. Flight 5 was won by Janey Garibay, Marty Light was second, and Debra Dubie was third.

Jan. 25 was a very special OLGA play day for our Charity event. Members donated $5,735, collected by our vice president, Sharon Skowron, and donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank. That amount of money will provide 40,145 meals to hungry families. Way to go, OLGA! The POD was 6-6-6 and was won by the team of Nancy Cohn, Karen Fager, and Mary Perry. Tied for second were the teams of Judy Darnell, Debbie Horner, and blind draw; and Dolly Eide, Pat Schepp, and Linda Thrash.

Mutt and Jeff were the qualifying holes on Feb. 1. Winner in Flight 1 was Mary Dyrseth, second place was Eun Yoon, third was Theresa Cockrell. In Flight 2 Terry Jung was the winner. Tied for second were Dang Teater and Linda Morris. Flight 3 was won by Kathy Burns, second was Beth Ebmeier, third was Barbara Dinardo. Flight 4 was won by Doris Swanson, and tied for second were Frankie Hatch and Karen Stock. Barbara Anderson won Flight 5, and Mary Buhrt was second. Tied for third were Priscilla Klabunde and Marty Light.

On Feb. 8, 3s and 5s were counted for the POD, and it was also the first day of our Club Championship, which will be reported on later. Eun Yoon and Cindy Reinertsen tied for first place in Flight 1. Tied for third were Sharon Bowditch and Debbie Wood. In Flight 2 the winner was Dolly Eide and a three-way tie for third of Dang Teater, Marla Dahm, and Jolan Adams. Fran Morin won Flight 3, and tied for second were Linda Thrash, Judy Kirschenbaum, and B.J. Schuller. Flight 4 was won by Shirley Weaver, and tied for second were Nancy Cohn and Betty Lauer. Flight 5 winner was Eleanor McCann, second was Phyllis D’More, third was Connie Hughes. Flight 6 winner was Joann Rebillard, tied for second were Jan Skibo and Dessa Hutchins.
