the weather turns nicer, the opportunities for road work in Palo Verde are also upon us.
Ribbonwood from San Tan to Spring Creek will be removed and replaced April 5 through April 7. This will impact residents, visitors, and our support vendors like postal, garbage, and landscapers. Please allow time to use the Spring Creek/Flame Tree/San Tan detour. It is best if the majority of Palo Verde visitors and residents come into and out of Palo Verde through the San Tan gate.
Also in that April timeframe, Burgess Court will be fully reconstructed, so equipment traffic will impact Cloverland and Minnesota in Palo Verde.
But we are not done. Almost 60% of Palo Verde road surfaces will be seal coated in the first three weeks of May. Everyone will be impacted, as both gates are being improved as well. For residents, please look at your homeowners letter. If you didn’t get a letter or misplaced it, please go to the Cottonwood Palo Verde Homeowners Association website Homeowners section and select the Palo Verde Road Management tab to find the 2023 work information. The map of our April road replacements and the May seal coat work and weather permitting schedules are included there.
Finally, and in response to Palo Verde resident comments in our January annual meeting, we are in the process of negotiating for the complete replacement of street and other traffic control signage throughout Palo Verde. That work is anticipated to be executed this fall.
Your fellow Palo Verde residents who make up the nine-member board of the independent Palo Verde Road Management Inc. (PVRM) are working hard to maintain our private roads and drainage systems. If you have questions or concerns for PVRM, please contact Mark Brauer, president, at [email protected].
