Get Ready!

Ladies from Palo Verde and Cottonwood are again meeting to organize our annual cancer fundraiser to be held at Palo Verde Golf Club on November 17. In the past we have been extremely successful in raising an excessive amount of monies donated to the University Of Arizona Cancer Center. The men’s league and their friends will again be invited to participate in this most important cancer fundraiser ever! Many of our friends, family and others are now fighting for their lives to overcome this dreaded and life threating disease. Each and every day we again hear of someone else discovering the presence of cancer; it is frightening and debilitating; we all fear it and never know if we will be the next victim. Sooo—let us follow our caring hearts and delve deeply into our generous pockets with the purpose of donating to our Golf Fore Life Cancer Fundraiser!

Information, signup sheets and various ways you may participate and donate will be posted in ladies’ lounges and men’s locker rooms at both clubs. Linda Grendahl (our chair) will be available to answer your specific questions at 895-0862. Cathy Jones our (reliable) photographer will be covering the event.
