Ron Troyer, Sun Lakes Country Club’s Golf and Grounds Maintenance Superintendent was honored at the August 4 Board of Directors meeting by the VFW. On Memorial Day, the golf course was not only populated with American flags on the greens, but red, white and blue flag holders were placed nearby so that our American flags held their honor by not touching the ground. “This is yet another example of the thought that Ron puts into his job – both on special occasions and day-to-day operations,” said General Manager Kelly Haynes. “Ron is an excellent manager and is very much respected and appreciated by his fellow managers.”
