PVLGA Summer Golf Is Heating Up

Winners of Member Guest.

The Palo Verde Ladies Golf Association (PVLGA) Member Guest was a lovely event where we were treated royally.  Many people worked behind the scenes in preparing and delivering on the day. With our very own Jester, to the Royal decree “Queen of the Green” money rings, and golden scepters (golf ball retrievers). We were treated like Queens, and much fun was had by all. Good music, food, and laughs.  Congratulations to the winners: Sharon Fratiello, Pamela Mason, Roz Pederson, Joanne Rumpler, Mary Nelson, Susan Madsen, Mary Latourelle, and June Orr.

PICO was played at Palo Verde and Oakwood, for two of the weeks in April with many fun friends and memories. It is always a gimmie for a great day, no matter how you play. Well maybe it is a Slice better when you don’t get lost on the right of a left Dogleg. Or stuck in a Sand Trap. You can appreciate the Birdies, as you improve your teams score. Always ready for the 19th hole with a wonderful luncheon. Congratulations to all who played and won new friends.

Summer Golf is heating up. We say goodbye to all the snowbirds, who fly off to their destinations of choice. We will miss you.

PVLGA continues to play on Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. Enjoying the longer days, we start hoping for rain that brings sweet reprieve. When none comes we make the best of things anyway.
