Restless Minds Will Discuss Pandemic September 8

Bill Gates

American life has changed radically over the past six months thanks to the lingering COVID-19 pandemic. The Restless Minds discussion group will explore those changes at its Sept. 8 meeting.

And in line with those changes, it will be a virtual meeting via Zoom. Anyone already receiving the club’s monthly email will automatically receive instructions on how to join the meeting, which will begin promptly at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Others interested in attending should send an email to [email protected] no later than Sept. 7. They’ll be sent the Zoom contact information that day.

Discussion will center on how the pandemic has affected us as individuals, families, and as a nation.

It’s hoped that by September, the pandemic’s worst impact will be in the past. However, as of this writing in mid-August, the October meeting, which will focus on the elections, will also be a virtual one.

Restless Minds is a monthly discussion group receptive to all people with open, inquisitive minds. There are no dues or membership requirements for the 20-year-old organization.

All political and social points of view are encouraged to engage in this friendly exchange of ideas on the second Tuesday of each month, September through April.
