Dakotas Patio Party—March 17

North Dakotans and South Dakotans and friends from Sun Lakes and surrounding areas are all invited to the annual North and South Dakota Party to be held at Palo Verde Country Club on Thursday, March 17. Time is short, so you have to act fast if you want to make this year’s party. We have to hear from you and have your payment by Wednesday, March 9. The party is $20 this year, but we are going to have some really nice door prizes, and you have to be there to win.

If you are on our list, you have been emailed the registration form and all the details. Fill it out and get it mailed in now. If you did not get one, send us an email and we will email another. This is advance ticket sales only. We will not be taking money at the door.

We have already had a great response and have sold more advance tickets compared to prior years. It looks like we are on par to break another attendance record. There is just no reason for not attending.

If you cannot attend, please email us your information anyway so that we can get you on our list for next year’s party. And, above all, please help spread the word. Tell everybody, even if they aren’t from the Dakotas. After all, anybody worth their salt would love to have some of our down-to-earth common sense and super friendly spirit. We are conservative Dakotans, and by the time we send a letter, envelope, sticker, and stamp, it costs about a buck, so we use email for just about everything.

The 2022 party will be casual, much like the 2020 outside patio party where we had near-record attendance. We again have an event sponsor: Dakota-based Western State Bank, with branches here in Arizona. They provide the door prizes, so stop by the bank at Chandler and Alma School Roads (northeast corner) and thank them.

Again, the cost is $20 per person and includes the buffet dinner (darn inflation). The event will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, at Palo Verde Country Club. Tickets must be purchased in advance!
