The Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club recently stopped by to present a donation and tour the facilities of AZCEND, a Chandler-based food bank. AZCEND has been serving the Chandler and Sun Lakes community since 1966. In addition to providing food to those in need, it offers homeless placement, job assistance, parenting skills classes, as well as referrals and resources to other agencies. “They provide life sustaining services to the food insecure and so much more. We are happy to support their mission,” said SLBLC President Bob Glantz.
