October … yeh!
Dear friends and readers,
I’m so looking forward to some semblance of normal living and praying for a good COVID-19 vaccine.
During this stressful time, reading has been a lifesaver for many, along with other activities, such as puzzles, quilting, golf, and bird watching for me.
Over a space of several months, I’ve read and collected numerous novels by David Baldacci, and your library will feature Mr. Baldacci’s works this October.
David Baldacci, an American novelist, was born Aug. 5, 1960, in Richmond, Va., and educated at Henrico High School, the University of Virginia School of Law, and Virginia Commonwealth University. He has been married since 1990 to his wife Michelle and has two children.
Mr. Baldacci’s novels Wish You Well and Absolute Power have been made into movies, and his newest book Daylight is coming Nov. 17, 2020. Daylight is the story of FBI agent Atlee Pines’ search for her sister Mercy and her clashes with military investigator John Puller and his high stakes investigation. The library will have this ASAP!
Your Library Featured selections will include 1997 novel Total Control, to 2013’s novel The Hit and 2019’s novels Redemption and One Good Deed. Mr. Baldacci has produced many series, such as The Memory Man, The Camel Club, The Will Robbie, The John Puller, The King & Maxwell series, and at least a dozen stand-alones! We will have on hand approximately 18-plus novels by David Baldacci for your reading pleasure.
Since last August, your library book buyer has purchased these new titles: Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Evolution, by Brian Freeman; 1st Case, by James Patterson and Chris Tebbetts; Chaos, by Iris Johansson; The Friendship List, by Susan Mallory; Thick As Thieves, by Sandra Brown; and Hit List, A Stone Barrington novel, by Stuart Woods.
Happy reading, friends!
