It’s fall; time to start our seasonal yoga practice. Vinyasa is a flowing style of yoga, breathing as we move through the poses. Yoga promotes a feeling of well-being and strengthens our minds and bodies, allowing us to pursue all of the activities that Sun Lakes has to offer.
Tuesday’s class will be Levels One and Two combined. I will explain the poses, we will move more slowly, and I will offer variations for the poses.
Thursday’s class will be Level Two. We will move faster and do more challenging poses.
Although I don’t teach any beginner classes at this time, if you are a fit and active person and wish to start yoga, the Tuesday class may be a good fit for you.
This all sounds very serious, but we are a very fun and welcoming group. Please join us. Bring a yoga mat. I have some blocks and straps for students to use.
I teach Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. in Room A-6 at Cottonwood. The cost is $5. Classes will start on November 3.
