Summer school is over, and the Sun Lakes Apple Computer Club is looking forward to resuming an exciting educational calendar starting Monday, September 10, 2018. We are returning to our Cottonwood Campus in the Phoenix Room at 1:30 p.m.
We learned from Steve Jobs that smart and successful Apple Computer Clubs are curious. They are always learning. Several of our leadership team spent part of the summer immersed in learning and getting out of their comfort zone. They expanded their knowledge cruising the Panama Canal, fishing the Strait of San Juan de Fuca and jet setting over Europe.
Sometimes we will do things and not know how it will connect to our club’s future. Steve Jobs took a calligraphy class in college and never thought it would impact his future. A decade later as he designed the first Macintosh, he used his knowledge from that class to create the first font ever.
We never know where those flashes of inspiration will come from or what impact they may have on our lives today, a decade from now or who may be influenced by the discoveries we make and what we learn!
Recent studies have shown that people can actually expand their brain capacity by challenging their brain in new ways… computer learning is one of these.
Take Your Day to The NXT Level – Monday, September 10, at 1:30 p.m. This is your opportunity to start changing your life by connecting the dots with straight lines. Class registration begins September 1, 2018. Contact Gary Bross at [email protected].
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” – Steve Jobs
