As we enter the final month of league play for the second session, I would like to thank the board of directors for their dedication and imagination. During the past two years, they have helped implement many improvements observed by all our members, resulting in one of our most successful bocce seasons ever.

Thank you to David Sinkbeil (vice president), Colleen Linko (membership director), Ron Seifert (treasurer), Laura Hanna (secretary), Robert and Cindi Fernandez and Karen and Neil Donohoe (social directors), Jeff Blankenship (webmaster), Mike Buscaglia (tournament director), Gary Vacin (publicity director), and Harry Bicchieri (equipment manager).

A special thanks to Greg DePaola, General Manager, Coulter Motor Company of Phoenix, for their first-year sponsorship of the Bocce Club, and to John Skoko, Fleet Sales Manager, for his participation in our Awards Potluck on Jan. 9.

We also want to remind all residents interested in the Sun Lakes Bocce Club for the 2022-23 season, that the club will continue to provide bocce instructions throughout most of the spring and summer months, leading up to next season.
