JoAnne Gaudioso
This is my favorite time of the year. I have just completed November where I reflected daily on all the things for which I am grateful. I am thankful for my family, my health, my freedoms, and my essential oils. My essential oils have been within my reach throughout the pandemic, helping to keep my family and me healthy, and helping us to navigate during these stressful times. We never worried that there were no cleaning products on the grocery store shelves. I have been using essential oils for several years now, replacing the toxic cleaning products in our home. And the essential oils were there to calm and soothe us through stressful and somewhat frightening times.
Now, looking ahead to the holidays, I look forward to keeping the holidays joyful and not stressful. Although for many of us, we will not be spending time with our families, we will be finding a different way to enjoy the holidays, maybe a virtual Christmas or Hanukkah celebration. I would like to share with you some of the ways I will be using essential oils to celebrate the season. As I prepare gifts for family and friends, I am including oils they can use immediately, like Doterra’s On Guard, which helps to give an immunity boost so we can fight bacteria that may be surrounding us. I love to share the oils with my friends and family by making gifts such as Peppermint Body Scrub or a soothing Adaptiv Bath Soak to relieve stress, or a Holiday Room Freshener made with Cinnamon Bark Oil, Peppermint, and Lemon Oil. And our home will be filled with Holiday Scents that we will diffuse. No more toxic candles with carcinogens.
Holiday Joy Diffuser Blend—Add these essential oils to a diffuser for a beautiful seasonal scent:
3 drops Frankincense
2 drops Wild Orange
2 drops Peppermint
The most important thing for you to do is try to keep calm and unstressed. Apply some Lavender over your heart and on your pulse points to calm and soothe you. Apply Balance to the bottom of your feet and diffuse in your car to keep you centered.
For more information about using essential oils during the holiday season and the amazing benefits of essential oils, join me for an Introduction to Oils class which is scheduled each Tuesday (Dec 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29) at 6 p.m., via Zoom. For those of you who prefer to have a one-on-one class, that can be scheduled to suit your convenience.
