Hi, Sun Lakes friends!

Our fall season is upon us, and that means cooler temps and the return of our snowbirds. I would like to invite you back to my Hatha Flow Yoga classes every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m.

The one-hour class includes poses to strengthen your muscles and bones and improve flexibility and balance. I emphasize mindful breathing and movement to energize the body, focus the mind, and calm the nervous system.

My Hatha Yoga Flow classes are on Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. We do Yin Yoga (deep stretching) once a month on the last Thursday of the month at 10 a.m.

Beginners are welcome if you can get up from the floor without assistance. Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle. Yoga props are provided, including mats, blocks, and straps. If you have knee issues, please bring a blanket or knee pad. Yoga is done in the bare feet to strengthen and increase stability in our lower body.

The drop-in fee is $5 per class. You can pay with Venmo Margaret-Parrish-9.

Just a reminder that the fitness classes fill up in winter, so it’s important to sign up online. There is new scheduling software called Vagaro that you need to use.
