Unity: the value of words

One Unity teacher once passed around a slip of paper with the following letters: “L.I.D.G.T.T.F.T.A.T.I.M.” She then told the story of a man who was down on his luck. Financially and emotionally he was depressed. He was ready to listen to anyone who could help him out of his troubles. She explained to him that he needed to pay attention to what he had to be grateful for and gave him that slip of paper. It was the acronym for the following: Lord, I do give Thee thanks for the Abundance that is mine. After a short time his depression lifted, he found he had many more things to be thankful for than he had previously thought and the list grew as did his bank account. Whatever we speak into our consciousness is heard by the One Mind and is returned to us in kind. These words spoken before bed and upon waking have the power to change our lives.

Events, Classes and Services are as follows:

Sunday Celebration: Our church services are held in the Arts and Crafts Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club at 9:30 a.m. Reverend Debbi Brown is our Minister. Coffee and fellowship follows the service.
