Message from the President
Roger Beagle
Hello March—let spring begin! There are lots of activities in our community that allow us to enjoy the outdoors: Champions for the CWPV men and women’s golf clubs have been crowned, and the Tennis Club has celebrated another great year of hosting the Bradshaw Tournament.
This month our community will have the opportunity to vote on updates to our by-laws. This task is accomplished with the help of our Election Committee, board of directors, management, and homeowner participation.
The board of directors has two members’ terms expiring this month. Bud Jenssen will be returning for another three-year term, and Glenn Martinsen will serve his first three-year term starting March 30. Congratulations to both for the willingness to serve this community.
My term as a board member for the last six years and as president of the board of directors for the past two years will end at our annual board meeting on March 30. I have enjoyed my elected position as a board member and look back with enjoyment. It truly has been a very rewarding experience!
As part of the board of directors, I can recall major accomplishments and enhancements in our Cottonwood Palo Verde community. There are still things left to do, but the future board of directors and management will have their opportunity to lead and direct the CWPV community.
When I campaigned to be elected as a board member in 2016, I stated that I did not have a specific agenda but, rather, a desire to do what was best for all homeowners in our community. I know every one of the current board members, and they all have that same feeling and desire.
The Cottonwood Palo Verde community continues to be very busy with our homeowners and visitors.
I hope that everyone takes the opportunity to walk around and enjoy our lakes, greenbelts, and streets.
Our many activities and amenities: Fitness Center, tennis, pickleball, golf, dance classes, clubs, etc., allow everyone the opportunity to meet new friends, see old friends, and enjoy each other. Please be respectful of others and our amenities.
Look for community information and updates in management’s publications of In The Know and The Flyer.
Thank you for allowing me to be of service to our community. It truly has been a pleasurable experience!
Community Map Delayed
Please be advised that the community map that is mentioned in your 2022 Source Book has been delayed. Due to the current paper shortage, our printer is having difficulty acquiring paper needed for the map. As soon as we are able to get the map printed, we will advise all residents how they will be able to acquire their copy of the map.
